We will perform maintenance on the cloud networking SDN.


Customer Impact during the Maintenance:

  • Several short interruptions of connectivity of virtual machines of up to 10 seconds each

  • Neutron/Network API will be unavailable for up to 30 minutes

Control Plane Services (SysEleven - CBK) INCIDENT: Possible intermittent Control Plane degradation for MetaKube clusters in DBL & CBK

Description:

Some individual control plane components (not apiserver or etcd) may be down for some clusters for a few minutes. We're investigating the cause.


Update:

The issues were caused by slow Pod start up on newly provisioned Nodes during a node rollover in our infrastructure. All nodes have been replaced and the issues are gone.

We will investigate the root cause.

Description:

  • Accessibility of the SysEleven Stack API is not ensured.

Customer Impact:

  • Spawning new virtual machines (VMs) or changing existing resources is not possible.
Incident: MetaKube in region FES

Affected Components: MetaKube Platform, region FES

Description:

  • Control Plane components might have been restarted because of a faulty node.

Possible customer impact:

  • No cluster updates possible
  • Timouts to the Kubernetes Control Plane possible
  • Running workloads are not affected, unless they are directly dependent on the API Server
  • Network availability is not affected
  • Storage availability is not affected

All control plane pods are running again. We will continue to watch the situation.

Network INCIDENT: F5 Load-Balancer in BKI

We are experiencing Issues with the WAF of the F5 Loadbalancers in BKI.

The issue is currently beeing investigated.


Update (12:25h) : We found an issue and applied a workaround, impacted websites should be recovering now.


Update (13:21h): We are continuing to investigate the issue, the workaround will remain in place until a solution is available.


Update 8th June (14:30) The incident has been resolved and all impacted customers have been contacted accordingly

The planned Maintenance on the F5 Load-Balancer in the BKI Datacenter resulted in connectivity issues.

Services recovered at 09:49am.

We did not expect any impact, therefore we are investigating this now.
