Between October 18th, 2019 00:00 AM and 01:00 AM (UTC+2) we will perform planned maintenance in Region DBL


During the maintenance window we will update our network service in region DBL.

Availability of the following services will be reduced:

  • interruption of network connectivity for 30 sec

Network SysEleven Stack issues in region CBK

At the moment we are facing major network issues in region CBK.

We are looking for a solution under high pressure.

We will keep you informed and apologise for any inconveniences.

Update 16:00: The issues are now resolved. Please contact cloudsupport@syseleven.de if you are still experiencing issues.

Update 16:20: We received reports from some customers that they are still experiencing network issues. We are investigating.

Update 17:00: We are still investigating connectivity issues for some VMs in the CBK region.

Update 17:13: We experienced another major downtime between 17:13 and 17:14. We are still investigating and working on a solution under high pressure.

Update 17:15: The issues are now resolved. Please contact cloudsupport@syseleven.de if you are still experiencing issues.

Update 17:41: The issues are identified and resolved. We will conduct a post-mortem and post a more detailed description of the problems until the end of the next week.

Network SysEleven Stack issues in region DBL

At 15:11 CEST we experienced an unexpected restart of services that are part of our software defined networking (SDN).

This led to 30 second downtime for some VMs and VPN services in DBL.

Compute SysEleven Stack Network and Storage issues in region DBL

We received reports for an intermittent partial outage in networking and storage in DBL. Total duration was around minute.

The issues are resolved already. We are looking into what caused these issues.

Update 10:36: We identified an issue in our switching fabric. The issues were caused by the short time the network took to reconverge.

Update 10:42: We observed slow IO in our distributed storage layer. We are investigating.

Update 11:11: All systems are operational again. We are watching closely and continue investigating.

Update 11:28: We observed slow IO in our distributed storage layer. We are investigating.

Update 11:38: We identified the root cause in our storage layer. All issues are now resolved. We will conduct a post-mortem to make sure this will not happen again.
